When the government announced cuts to the “Building Schools for the Future” programme this led to schemes being substantially reduced or in some instances scrapped altogether.

It is therefore pleasing to be able to report that we have successfully secured £1million of work on local school projects. This work sees additional orders from Carillion for external works on both Thomas Hepburn School and Harton Technical College as well as a new contract for Surgo Construction at St. Joseph’s R.C. School in Sunderland.
